Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Montevideo:Malvin (#4) and Aguada (#5). Malvin (10-5) crushed visiting Aguada (8-5) by 17 points 89-72 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Aguada. The best player for the winners was American guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) who scored 22 points and 6 assists. Forward Nicolas Martinez (206-2003) chipped in 16 points. Four Malvin players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) who recorded 18 points and Federico Pereiras (190-1994) added 16 points respectively. Aguada's coach German Cortizas rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Malvin moved-up to third place. Loser Aguada keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Defensor.
