Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo:Nacional (#2) and Bigua (#6). Nacional (12-5) crushed visiting Bigua (10-8) by 24 points 97-73 . Nacional looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American-Dominican center James Feldeine (193-1988, college: Quinnipiac) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 7 assists. Panamanian power forward Ezequiel Bell (202-1999) helped adding 13 points. Four Nacional players scored in double figures. At the losing side Sebastian Ottonello (200-1997) responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Deshone Hicks (178-1999, college: Ferrum) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nacional have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 12-5 record having just three points less than leader Penarol, which they share with Aguada. Loser Bigua keeps the sixth position with eight games lost.
