No shocking result in a game when eighth rankedDefensor (9-9) beat 11th ranked Cordon (3-16) in Montevideo 90-84 on Thursday. The winners were led by American point guard Elijah Weaver (197-1998, college: Chicago St.) who scored that evening 27 points and 4 assists and guard Facundo Terra (187-1998) supported him with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Even 18 points and 9 rebounds by American power forward Jordan ONeal (201-2001, college: Jackson St., agency: JCK Sports Group) did not help to save the game for Cordon . His fellow American import guard Addison Spruill (195-1993, college: UNCW) added 17 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Four Defensor and five Cordon players scored in double figures. Defensor moved-up to seventh place, which they share with U.Atletica. Cordon lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. They share it with Welcome.
