Another exciting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Montevideo:Defensor (#7) and Aguada (#2). Defensor (12-10) won against visiting Aguada (15-7) 98-92 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Aguada. They outrebounded Aguada 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American Elijah Weaver (197-1998, college: Chicago St.) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists. His fellow American import Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Defensor players scored in double figures. Guard Santiago Vidal (180-1989) came up with 29 points and 8 assists and American Earl Clark (208-1988, college: Louisville, agency: BIG) added 27 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Aguada in the defeat. Aguada's coach German Cortizas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defensor have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place. Loser Aguada keeps the second position with seven games lost.
