There was no surprise in Montevideo where 11th rankedCordon (5-22) was defeated by ninth ranked Urunday (12-14) 88-82 on Friday. Urunday looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Argentinian Nahuel Amichetti (202-1998) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and American forward Travis Daniels (203-1992, college: MSU, agency: Olsta) chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds. Urunday's coach Mauricio Gonzalez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. American center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Alphonso Willis (188-1998, college: ETAMU) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Urunday have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Defensor. Loser Cordon keeps the eleventh position with 22 games lost.
