The most exciting game of round 6 in the LUB took place in Montevideo. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengersNacional (15-9) to third ranked Malvin (17-9) 90-88 in the game for the third place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nacional. Malvin looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for American guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Serbian Dragan Zekovic (209-1987, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Argentinian-American Erik Thomas (195-1995, college: New Orleans) replied with 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Panamanian power forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) added 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Nacional. Four Malvin and five Nacional players scored in double figures. Nacional's coach Alvaro Ponce rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Malvin maintains third position with 17-9 record having just one point less than leader Penarol. Defending champion Nacional keeps the fourth place with nine games lost.
