Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo:Nacional (#4) and Defensor (#6). Defensor was defeated at home 68-80 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Nacional dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Defensor 's 18. They outrebounded Defensor 46-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American-Dominican center James Feldeine (193-1988, college: Quinnipiac) who led the winners and scored 19 points. Pablo Gomez (200-2003) accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Nacional's coach Alvaro Ponce allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Elijah Weaver (197-1998, college: Chicago St.) came up with 25 points and guard Facundo Terra (187-1998) added 25 points respectively for Defensor in the defeat. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 16-9 record. Defensor lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 15 games lost.
