No shocking result in a game when third rankedTabare (3-1) beat at home 8th ranked Cordon (1-4) 70-56 on Wednesday. Tabare held Cordon to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Tabare forced 28 Cordon turnovers. Strangely Cordon outrebounded Tabare 48-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tabare made 7 blocks. Argentinian point guard Abril Ramirez (167-2000, agency: BIG) nailed 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side and forward Krystal Cordara (169-2002) accounted for 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.
