Yale recorded a loss in Montevideo on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Malvin 75-53 . Malvin outrebounded Yale 49-25 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Argentinian forward Carla Miculka (174-1993) fired 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Fernanda Midaglia (174-1995, college: Cent.Florida) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Malvin's coach Diego Rivas felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Argentinian guard Paola Alegre (162-2001) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Martina Marino (170-2005) added 10 points respectively for lost side.
