Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo:Urunday and Cordon . Urunday crushed visiting Cordon by 25 points 80-55 . Urunday forced 24 Cordon turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Emilia Borges (184-2002) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. Argentinian guard Melina Marcial (168-1998) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Argentinian center Martina Schunk (181-2005) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Virginia Peralta (172-2006, agency: BIG) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Cordon. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
