An interesting game took place in Caracas where higher rankedPioneros (5-4) were upset on the court of ninth ranked Heroes (3-6) 90-66 . Heroes outrebounded Pioneros 41-27 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Colombian forward Michaell Jackson (198-1987) notched 23 points to lead the effort and guard Maximillion Bell (198-1999, college: Lane) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Heroes players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by American guard Brevin Galloway (188-1997, college: Clemson, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Pioneros . His fellow American import power forward Jeff Allen (201-1987, college: Virginia Tech) added 15 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Heroes maintains ninth position with 3-6 record. Pioneros at the other side dropped to the seventh place with four games lost.
