Very predictable result in Caracas where fifth rankedCocodrilos (7-3) smashed 11th ranked Piratas (2-9) 105-85 on Sunday. Cocodrilos made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Dominican Diego Colon (188-2001) who scored 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. Dominican Luis Montero (203-1993, college: South Plains) chipped in a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals. Four Cocodrilos players scored in double figures. American swingman James Ennis (201-1990, college: LBSU) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and the other American import forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cocodrilos moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Piratas keep the eleventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Centauros.
