Very expected game in Margarita where 11th rankedCentauros (2-9) were crushed by second ranked Trotamundos (7-3) 108-78 on Sunday. Trotamundos shot 60.3 percent from the field and made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Trotamundos outrebounded Centauros 39-21 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Trotamundos shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Panamanian power forward Eric Romero (210-1999) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Forward Anthony Reyes (180-2006) chipped in 25 points (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!). Four Trotamundos players scored in double figures. Forward Miguel Lunar (198-2002) produced 13 points and Colombian forward Yustin Llerena (195-2002) added 13 points respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Trotamundos have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-3 record having just one point less than leader Gaiteros, which they share with 4 other teams. Centauros lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Piratas.
