Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Caracas:Diablos (#10) and Panteras (#13). Panteras were defeated at home 85-97 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Diablos dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Panteras ' 36 and made 23-of-25 charity shots (92.0 percent) during the game. American forward Delwan Graham (200-1988, college: Jacksonville, agency: Interperformances) had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import swingman ArMond Davis (197-1995, college: UCSB) chipped in 27 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American guard Davonte Davis (190-2001, college: OK State) with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Wilkerman Gomez (190-2001) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Diablos (3-6) moved-up to ninth place. Panteras lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with nine games lost.
