Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

First defeat of league's leader Potters S. (11-1) against second ranked Flyers (12-1) 93-76 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Potters S.. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Flyers forced 24 Potters S. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Potters S.'s players. Guard Xavier Meade orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Selassie Brathwaite contributed with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Cohen Desouza (201-1994) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds for Potters S.Flyers have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Potters S. at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Flyers. Potters S. will play next round against strong DA-Project trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Flyers will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Lava SSW on the road.

ABA top team - Potters S. (11-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Slam (4-6) 84-60. It was a quality performance for Cohen Desouza who led the winners and scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Humroy Wright came up with 16 points for Slam in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Potters S.. Despite that victory Potters S. went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Slam keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Potters S. will meet at home DA-Project (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Slam will play against Spanish Heat and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 11: DA-Project smashed Ottos on the road 83-50. Stingerz was destroyed by Spanish Heat on its own court 74-102. Slam outscored Lava SSW in a road game 99-78.



Flyers - Ottos 102-41

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Flyers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Flyers smashed 8th ranked Ottos at home 102-41. Flyers dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Ottos' 30 and made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Flyers forced 23 Ottos turnovers and outrebounded them 61-31 including a 42-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Flyers players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Ottos' players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Ottos - DA-Project 50-83

No shocking result in a game when third ranked DA-Project (8-4) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Ottos (1-11) 83-50 on Saturday. DA-Project dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ottos' 32. DA-Project forced 20 Ottos turnovers and outrebounded them 63-35 including a 49-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. DA-Project looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when DA-Project made 8 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for T-shawn Lewis who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Terry Dawkins (193-2000, college: AMC) accounted for 20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals for the winning side. Dawkins is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four DA-Project players scored in double figures. Center Morlon Davis came up with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Warren Bogle added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Ottos in the defeat. The victory was the third consecutive win for DA-Project. Newly promoted DA-Project maintains third place with 8-4 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Flyers. Loser Ottos stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. DA-Project will meet league's second-placed Potters S. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
