Regatas - Atenas 90-70 No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Regatas (12-7) crushed 10th ranked Atenas (10-9) in Corrientes 90-70 on Friday. Regatas outrebounded Atenas 51-31 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Atenas' players. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Tobias Franchela (185-1) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Fabio Gauto (190-2) accounted for 24 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Regatas' coach let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Jonatan Basualdo (198-99) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Ignacio Segura (195-0) added 10 points respectively for Atenas in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Regatas maintains sixth place with 12-7 record. Loser Atenas keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. Riachuelo LR dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to La Union's 38. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Yoel Cuenca (178-99) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Forward Lautaro Velasquez (200-2) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Riachuelo LR's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Obera - Riachuelo LR 87-60 Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Riachuelo LR (11-8) was outscored on the road by fourth ranked Obera (15-5) 87-60 on Sunday. Obera outrebounded Riachuelo LR 48-31 including a 40-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Stefano Alesso (211-3) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Santiago Konaszuk (188-99) accounted for 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Five Obera players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
