The list of other players, who all have Argentinian passport but never been selected to any of Argentinian national teams: #1. Ernesto Rodriguez (178-G-1990, currently plays in Puerto Rico) was the major contributor in Gigantes' victory against the leader Capitanes (22-10) 84-83 in the Puerto Rican BSN in Monday night's game. He scored 16 points, grabbed 6 boards, dished 5 assists and stole 3 balls in 33 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams. Gigantes de Carolina (13-4) is placed first in Group B. This year Rodriguez averages: 2.8ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.3apg in 33 games he played so far. #2. Joaquin Gamazo (198-PF-1991, currently plays in Bolivia) led La Salle to a victory over one of league's weakest teams UNITEP (2-9) crushing them 92-62 in the Bolivian Libobasquet in Tuesday night's game. Gamazo was the best player in that game. He scored 25 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Club Deportivo y Cultural La Salle de Tarija (6-3) is placed fourth in the Libobasquet. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Gamazo has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 26.2ppg, 13.8rpg and 3.1apg. #3. Manuel Lambrisca (192-G/F-1997, currently plays in Chile) was the main contributor in a Boston College's victory against the closely-ranked Arabe de Valparaiso (5-6) crushing them 85-62 in the Chilean LNB 2 (second division) last Saturday. Lambrisca was the best player in that game. He scored 19 points in 28 minutes. It was his first game for Boston College this season. His team is placed eighth in the LNB 2. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. #4. Experienced Eduardo Gamboa (189-SG-1984, currently plays in Bolivia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Joaquin Gamazo. But that was another game of his team in Bolivian Libobasquet which we would like to mention. Gamboa contributed to a La Salle's victory against the closely-ranked Atomico (5-5) 71-67. He was the best player in that game. Gamboa scored 22 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Club Deportivo y Cultural La Salle de Tarija (6-3) is placed fourth in the Libobasquet. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Gamboa has relatively solid stats: 14.8ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.5spg. #5. Federico Herrera (200-F/C-1993, currently plays in Chile) helped Sportiva Italiana win their game against the 13th-ranked Luis Matte (4-8) crushing them 98-61 in the Chilean LNB 2 (second division) last Sunday. Herrera scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Sportiva Italiana Valparaiso (10-1) is placed first in the LNB 2. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. He was the top player that evening. Dose scored 17 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Dose has very high stats. He averages: 15.9ppg, 5.2rpg and 2.6apg. Dose has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Paraguayan. #8. Sebastian Picton (197-F-1992, currently plays in Paraguay) is a teammate of previously mentioned Franco Benitez. He played also in the last Paraguayan LNB game facing Fernando Dose (above) in the other team. Picton helped San Jose win their game against the third-ranked Colonias Gold 85-77 in a derby game. He scored 16 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. This year Picton has relatively solid stats: 12.4ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg in 14 games. #9. Sebastian Alvarez (185-PG-1989, currently plays in Uruguay) helped Colon win their game against the closely-ranked 25 de Agosto 106-99 in the Uruguayan Metropolitan (second division) in Saturday night's game.
