After 11 rounds played we can already see who rules in the La Liga Argentina and who belongs to weaker ones. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ameghino as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ameghino smashed 8th ranked Libertad in Villa Maria 82-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Libertad. They outrebounded Libertad 44-28 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (200-1988) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 4 assists. American-Panamanian forward Tymell Murphy (196-1990, college: FIU) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. Enzo Rupcic (201-1997) responded with 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Libertad at the other side keeps the eighth place with three games lost. Libertad will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Ameghino will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked Salta Basket at home.
Very important is a home loss of second ranked Zarate Basket (6-3) against fourth ranked Quilmes MP (5-2) on Monday night. Host Zarate Basket was defeated by Quilmes MP in a tough game in Zarate 88-93. It was an exceptional evening for forward Tomas Nally (202-2002, agency: BIG) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds. Ezequiel Dupuy accounted for 23 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Center Sebastian Chaine (201-1986) came up with 21 points for Zarate Basket in the defeat. Quilmes MP maintains fourth place with 5-2 record. Zarate Basket at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. Quilmes MP will play against Villa Mitre (#16) in Bahia Blanca in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Zarate Basket will play at home against Dep Viedma (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
