The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Gimnasia as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Gimnasia defeated 11th ranked Regatas in Comodoro Rivadavia 80-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Regatas. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tyrone White (201-1990, college: CSUB) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists. The former international point guard Sebastian Orresta (188-1993) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. point guard Andres Jaime (184-2000) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds for Regatas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Obras. Regatas at the other side keeps the eleventh place with six games lost. They share the position with Boca. Regatas will play next round against San Lorenzo trying to get back on the winning streak. Gimnasia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Important game to mention about took place in Obera. Sixth ranked Obera (8-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 14th ranked Boca (5-6) 88-87 on Wednesday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment.
