Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Zarate (1-1) at the home court on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by Independ.O. (4-0) 78-75. Strangely Zarate outrebounded Independ.O. 50-33 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Jorge Garcia (200-2003) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Esteban Caffaro (200-2003) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Gino Sciamanna who recorded 26 points and 9 rebounds. Independ.O. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Zarate will play at home against Penarol (#13) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
Very important is a road loss of Boca Jrs (3-2) against Quimsa (1-1) on Friday night. Visiting Boca Jrs was crushed by Quimsa in Santiago del Estero 91-62. It was a good game for Romeo Amprimo who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 assists. Matias Pikaluk contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Quimsa's coach Marcelo Zanni felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fidel Cifuentes answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for Boca Jrs.Quimsa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boca Jrs will play at home against Penarol (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Buenos Aires: Obras (#4) and Ferro (#10). Ferro was defeated at home 75-84 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for Juan Respaud who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was Camilo Rodriguez with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Other games of round 3 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Boca Jrs. defeated Olimpico in Buenos Aires 92-79. Winless Argentino was beaten by Union at home 65-71. Regatas won against Riachuelo on the opponent's court 77-69.

There was no surprise in La Banda where Olimpico (0-4) was defeated by Boca Jrs (3-2) 92-79 on Thursday. Boca Jrs. outrebounded Olimpico 53-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Fidel Cifuentes who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 9 rebounds. Matias Stachiotti (-2005) helped adding 23 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Luciano Tundis with 28 points and 7 rebounds and Enzo Facelli (-2003) scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Boca Jrs will meet at home Penarol (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olimpico will have a break next round.

No shocking result in a game in Junin where Union (3-1) defeated Argentino (0-2) 71-65 on Friday. It was a great evening for Ulises Gonzalez (-2005) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Lucas Peralta (-2005) helped adding 19 points. The best for the losing side was Lucio Dominici with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Francisco Suarez scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Union will meet at home Platense (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Argentino will play against Penarol (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Very expected game in La Rioja where Riachuelo (0-1) was defeated by Regatas (4-0) 77-69 on Friday. It was a great evening for Juan Larraza who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points. Power forward Ignacio Ortega (205-2004) helped adding 12 points and 16 rebounds. Four Regatas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Fabricio Diaz (205-2006) with 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Mateo Corso (185-2003) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Riachuelo LR's coach Gonzalo Castillo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Regatas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Riachuelo will play against Boca Jrs. (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
