Guard Benjamin Marco (186-2005) chipped in 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Regatas' coach Diego Checenelli used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Tiago Tomatis produced 21 points for the guests. Regatas are looking forward to face Penarol in Mar del Plata in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Important game to mention about took place in Obera. San Lorenzo saved a 1-point victory on the road edging Obera 73-72 on Tuesday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. saved the victory by scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds. Facundo Ibanez contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Tobias Reizner replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds for Obera. San Lorenzo will play against La Union in Formosa in the next round and it may be the game of the week. The game with biggest result difference took place in Buenos Aires. Local Ferro beat Penarol 78-63 on Sunday night. Juan Ryzwaniuk scored 13 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Ferro's coach Juan Di Gilio used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gian Rossi responded with 19 points and 6 assists. Ferro will meet Racing Ch. in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Penarol will play against Regatas and hope to win that game.
