Obera can celebrate their first win this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Union (0-2) 85-67 on Monday. The best player for the winners was who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. chipped in 16 points and 11 rebounds. Obera's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Agustin Ferrari produced 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the guests. Obera (1-2) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place. Union at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Obera will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Union will play at home against Racing Ch. (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Undefeated leader Instituto delivered the fifth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 11th ranked Penarol (1-4) 69-44 in Mar del Plata. orchestrated the victory by scoring 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Jerson Caicedo contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Gian Rossi (185-2005) answered with 20 points and 4 assists for Penarol. Penarol's coach Tomas Sirochinsky gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Instituto have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Obras. Penarol at the other side dropped to the fourteenth position with four games lost. They share it with Atenas. Instituto will play against Platense (#8) in Florida in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Penarol will have a break next round.

Gimnasia will meet at home higher ranked La Union (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olimpico will play against Atenas (#14) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

Boca Jrs. defeated Atenas in Buenos Aires 67-65. Racing Ch. lost to undefeated Obras at home 56-66. Winless Union lost to undefeated La Union on the opponent's court 87-93. San Lorenzo managed to outperform San Martin in a home game 73-59. Obras rolled over Argentino on the road 85-52. Ferro defeated San Martin on its own court 79-78.

Boca Jrs. moved-up to sixth place. Atenas lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with four games lost. They share it with Penarol. Boca Jrs. will meet at home higher ranked La Union (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Atenas will play against Olimpico (#18) in La Banda and hope to win that game.
