La Union dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Instituto's 26. The other American import guard Tomas Nuno (196-1998, college: CMU) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Obras and Obera. Defending champion Boca Juniors dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Penarol will play against San Martin (#10) in Corrientes in the next round. Boca Juniors will play at home against Regatas (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Worth to mention a great performance of Jose Ascanio who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The best for the losing side was Yeferson Guerra with 16 points. Olimpico maintains sixteenth position with 3-6 record, which they share with Racing Ch.
