The most surprising game was the first loss of Obras (10-1) in Olivia on Friday night. Visitors were edged by eighth ranked Independ.O. (6-3) 76-74. It was a good game for who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 6 assists. contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Independ.O.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Matias Khoury answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for Obras. Independ.O. have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Platense. Obras at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Independ.O. is looking forward to face San Martin (#15) in Corrientes in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Obras will have a break next round.

The best for the losing side was Jeronimo Guerrero with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Obras maintains second place with 10-1 record having just eight point less than leader Instituto. Instituto at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost.

It was an exceptional evening for Tiago Drocezesky who led the winners and scored 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Facundo Peralta came up with 20 points and 7 rebounds for Quimsa in the defeat. Quimsa's coach Mariano Marcos gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Boca Jrs. moved-up to fourteenth place. Loser Quimsa dropped to the fifteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with San Martin.

In the last two games of round 15 Gimnasia was smashed by Ferro on the road 93-64. Penarol lost to Obera on its own court 60-71.



Quimsa - Boca Jrs. 52-75

There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Ferro (6-4) crushed higher ranked Gimnasia CR (7-5) in Buenos Aires 93-64 on Friday. Ferro dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Gimnasia CR's 32. Ferro forced 19 Gimnasia turnovers and outrebounded them 32-20 including 23 on the defensive glass. Ferro looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Martin Gonzalez who led the winners and scored 9 points and 6 assists. Juan Ryzwaniuk accounted for 8 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Ferro's coach Juan Di Gilio felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Jose Copesky (184-2006) came up with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Natalio Santacroce added 17 points respectively for Gimnasia in the defeat. Ferro moved-up to eighth place. Loser Gimnasia CR keeps the fifth position with five games lost.

It was an exceptional evening for Edwin Niebles who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Albano Costa (192-2006) accounted for 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Obera players scored in double figures. point guard Gian Rossi (185-2005) came up with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Martin Chapero (205-2007) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Penarol in the defeat. Obera have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to twelfth place. Penarol lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth position with eight games lost.
