Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 18 in the La Liga took place in Florida. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Independ.O. (7-5) to twelfth ranked Platense (6-4) 86-84 on Sunday evening. Strangely Independ.O. outrebounded Platense 39-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Independ.O. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Eric Flor (190-1993) scored 31 points and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international center Agustin Caffaro (211-1995) with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Platense have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place. Independ.O. at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Platense are looking forward to face San Martin (#12) in Corrientes in the next round. Independ.O. will have a break next round.
An interesting game took place in Santa Fe where higher ranked Independ.O. (7-5) was upset on the court of sixteenth ranked Union (5-8) 100-85. Swingman Emiliano Basabe (195-1992) notched 23 points to lead the effort and Franco Balbi supported him with 12 points and 10 assists. Even 17 points and 4 assists by the former international Eric Flor (190-1993) did not help to save the game for Independ.O.. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Union moved-up to fifteenth place. Independ.O. at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Fifteenth ranked San Lorenzo (5-7) crushed at home 19th ranked Argentino (1-12) by 36 points 88-52, which is the biggest margin this round on Monday night. The best player for the winners was Facundo Rutenberg who scored 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Joao Demetrio who recorded 8 points and 12 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. San Lorenzo moved-up to fourteenth place. Argentino lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. San Lorenzo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Argentino will play against the league's second-placed La Union (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 18: Penarol lost to Obras on the opponent's court 86-95. Regatas was outscored by Platense in a home game 67-89. Olimpico recorded a loss to Penarol on the road 82-76.
