Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked La Union as it allowed them to take a leadership position. La Union edged 9th ranked Quimsa in Formosa 78-77. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Alexis Elsener (195-1988, agency: Interperformances) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Quimsa will play next round against Regatas trying to get back on the winning streak. La Union will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Very important is a home loss of second ranked Instituto (12-10) against fifteenth ranked Olimpico (8-12) on Monday night. Host Instituto was crushed by Olimpico in Cordoba 93-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Instituto. International center Gonzalo Bressan (205-2001) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Jose Ascanio contributed with 19 points for the winners. Naturalized Italian point guard Gaston Whelan (187-1994) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds for Instituto.
