The most exciting game of round 19 in the LaLiga Femenina took place in Caba. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Ferro (9-5) to sixth ranked El Talar (8-5) 69-67 on Tuesday evening. The former international point guard Luciana Delabarba (167-1997) fired 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Luna Cao chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds. Center Julia Fernandez (185-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Ferro's coach Gabriel Fernandez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. El Talar maintains sixth place with 8-5 record. Defending champion Ferro dropped to the fourth position with five games lost.
Undefeated leader Chanares delivered the thirteenth consecutive victory. This time they beat 14th ranked Bochas (3-9) 64-52 in James Craik. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Stefania Lucero (172-1993, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Janet Banegas contributed with 6 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Debora Coli (180-2001) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for Bochas. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Chanares (13-0) have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 13 victories in a row. Bochas lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with nine games lost.

It was a great evening for Stefania Lucero who led her team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists and 8 steals. Chanares' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Catalina Fessia responded with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Chanares. They maintain first place with 13-0 record. Riachuelo lost their twelfth game in a row. They still close the standings with 12 games lost.

Other games of round 19 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Union Florida was crushed by Obras in Buenos Aires 74-45. Avellaneda smashed Riachuelo at home 76-38. Rocamora was destroyed by Berazategui on the opponent's court 90-59. Gorriones unfortunately lost to Quimsa in a home game 71-74. San Jose managed to beat Instituto on the road 75-73.

There was no surprise in Buenos Aires where 10th ranked Union Florida (6-5) was crushed by fourth ranked Obras (9-2) 74-45 on Tuesday. Obras held Union Florida to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 40.0 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a great evening for the former international center Natassja Kolff (188-2004) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. International Candela Gentinetta (181-2001) helped adding 9 points and 9 rebounds. Four Obras players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Maria Laviero (172-1996) responded with 3 points and 10 rebounds and Colombian guard Myriam Alonso (175-1992) scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Obras moved-up to second place.
