The Regular Season in LDB is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 8 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 39 in the LDB took place in Buenos Aires. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placed Obras (22-4) to fifteenth ranked Atenas (10-19) 84-81 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the 12-game winning streak of Obras. Strangely Obras outrebounded Atenas 51-31 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Tiago Tomatis who scored 32 points and 7 rebounds. Facundo Valfre chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Valentino Finetti (204-2005) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Atenas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifteenth place with 10-19 record. Obras at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Atenas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Cordoba Instituto.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Obera, where 7th ranked Independ.O. (15-13) was outleveled in a road game by tenth ranked Obera (14-15) 101-68. Albano Costa contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Obera's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
