Waltiea Rolle (ex DSK Karlin) joins Haskovo 2012

Haskovo 2012 (NBL) agreed terms with 24-year old Bahamas center Waltiea Rolle (198-90, college: N.Carolina). She started the season at DSK Karlin in ZBL league in Czech Republic. In 20 games she had 14.1ppg, 9.2rpg and 2.0bpg this season. The last season Rolle played at the University of North Carolina in Atlantic Coast Conference in the NCAA. In 35 games she recorded 12.1ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.1spg and 2.5bpg. She helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. Quite impressive season as she was named to ACC All-Tournament 2nd Team and ACC All-Defensive Team.
Last year Rolle was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in third round (36th overall).
She attended University of North Carolina until 2013 and it is her first season in pro basketball.
