Jones is back at Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu Istanbul (KBSL) signed 30-year old Bosnian-Bahamas ex-international center Jonquel Jones (198cm-1994, college: GWU) for upcoming 2024-25 season. She is the second foreign player in the roster as Serbian Nikolina Milic signed here earlier.
It is actually her comeback to Istanbul as she has played here before. She played last season at New York Liberty (WNBA). In 14 games just recently she had very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 8.7rpg, 2.7apg and 1.5bpg. The last season she played at Mongolia in Chinese league.
In 2016 she was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in first round (6th overall).
The former George Washington University standout is in her ninth season in pro basketball.
Jones also represented Bosnia at the FIBA World Cup for Women in Sydney (Australia) two years ago. During this event she scored an average of 13.6 points per game and had 8.8 rebounds per game.
She is quite experienced player. Jones has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in China (Flame), Korea (Woori Bank), Russia (UMMC Yekaterinburg) and Turkey (Mersin).
Among many awards she won Euroleague championship title in 2021. Jones was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese WCBA Player of the Year back in 2018. She played also for Clemson University for one year.
