Seattle Storm adds Rolle to their roster

Seattle Storm added to their roster 24-year old Bahamas center Waltiea Rolle (198-90, college: N.Carolina). She moved there from Haskovo 2012 in Bulgarian NBL league where she started the season. In 21 games she was the best scorer with impressive 22.9ppg and had 13.1rpg (#2 in the league), 2.0apg and 2.1bpg this season. She helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. A very spectacular season in her career as she was selected Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League Defensive Player of the Year and voted to All-Imports Team and voted to Honorable Mention. Rolle also played at DSK Karlin (ZBL) in Czech Republic league that season. In 20 games she was the best scorer with 14.1ppg and recorded 9.2rpg (#3 in the league) and 2.0bpg.
Last year she was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in third round (36th overall).
The former University of North Carolina star is in her first season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she played in the final of ACC Tournament in 2011 and 2013.
