Valarie Nesbitt claims Bahamas NPWBA weekly honour

Valarie Nesbitt had a great game in the last round for league's leader Elite Ballers and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The had a double-double of 36 points and 12 rebounds, while her team beat Eagles (#3, 7-6) 78-73. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Ballers to consolidate first place in the Bahamas NPWBA. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Ballers still have not lost a single game, getting all 14 victories. In the team's last game Nesbitt had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 19 attempts. She just recently signed at Ballers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Nesbitt has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 19.4ppg), rebounds (6th best: 10.3rpg) and averages solid 4.1spg and 55.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Ballers' star - Shenell Stewart. Stewart impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. Of course together with Nesbitt she helped Elite Ballers with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Eagles (#3, 7-6) 83-60. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Ballers consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. She plays for the best team in the league and Ballers managed to win all 14 games keeping a perfect record. Stewart is one of the most experienced players at Ballers and similarly like Valarie Nesbitt has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.4ppg (#6). She also registered 7.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international center Britenique Harrison (193-C-1992) of Send Dollar Lady Flyers (#4). Harrison showcased her all-around game by recording 13 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Flyers, leading her team to a 78-46 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Sparks (#5, 2-9). Flyers can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Harrison has individually a great season in Bahamas. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.2ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 15.3rpg (#1 in league).
