They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists. Trevor Bain fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Shemar Pinder chipped in 36 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Lian Carroll produced 31 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. There was no surprise when 7th ranked Celebration KS (5-7) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Pizza Hut L. (8-5) 101-84. Pizza Hut L. forced 19 Celebration KS turnovers and outrebounded them 48-37 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pizza Hut L. players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a very good performance for the former international Ahmad Pratt (203-1995, college: Southwestern, KS) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). The former international Leon Cooper Jr (191-1991, college: WVU Tech) contributed with 20 points and 9 assists for the winners. Four Pizza Hut L. players scored in double figures. Center Mariken Johnson answered with 28 points and 6 rebounds and Malieck Johnson added 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Celebration KS. Ods Fugees dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Connect SJ's 48. Ods Fugees had a 23-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Denardo Adderley (193-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 19 rebounds. Guard Stephen Knowles contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Travis Wildgoose (-1992, college: Cleveland St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists and guard T'Vaughn Gibson (188, college: SUNY Maritime) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Connect SJ. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ods Fugees moved-up to third place, which they share with Pizza Hut L.
