Regular Season Round 9: Talca - Los Leones 75-66

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Espanol de Talca (1-9) won against at home 3rd placed Los Leones (5-4) 75-66 on Friday. Point guard Ricardo Gomez (176-93) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and forward Diego Zerene (-0) chipped in 19 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). The best for the losing side was the former international forward Darrol Jones (193-94) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and the former international guard Barham Amor (185-96) scored 18 points. Espanol de Talca maintains sixth place with 1-9 record. Loser Los Leones keep the third position with four games lost. They share it with Ancud.
