Regular Season Round 3: Boston C. - Rancagua 81-60

No shocking result in a game when Boston C. (3-1) crushed Rancagua (0-4) in Santiago 81-60 on Saturday. Boston C. forced 29 Rancagua turnovers and had a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international center Claudia Silva (193-1989) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Marisol Gamboa (178-1985) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Four Boston C. players scored in double figures. Forward Daisy Becerra came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 19 rebounds and Katheen Ruiz added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Rancagua in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
