Regular Season Round 2: Aleman - Tomas L. 52-49

A very close game took place in Puerto Varas between Aleman and Tomas L.. Aleman got a very close home victory over Tomas L.. Aleman managed to escape with a 3-point win 52-49 on Saturday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Aleman forced 30 Tomas L. turnovers. Strangely Tomas L. outrebounded Aleman 54-37 including 21 on the offensive glass. Forward Jose Campos (-2002) scored 19 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and forward Sebastian Barros (-2002) chipped in 8 points and 5 steals during the contest. Forward Vicente Cerda (-1987) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and forward Esteban Castro (-1999) scored 6 points and 18 rebounds. Tomas L.'s coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Aleman will meet Liceo PN in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tomas L. will play against Liceo Curico and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
