There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in BEBL. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Western Ballaz in Belize City on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Defenders 84-69. Defenders forced 27 Western Ballaz turnovers and outrebounded them 53-42 including 18 on the offensive glass. American swingman Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 19 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). The former international guard Devin Daly (195-1994, college: LSSU) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Defenders' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Richard Smith III (206-1992, college: California, PA) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for Western Ballaz.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Belize City: Hurricanes and Running Rebels. Running Rebels were defeated at home 77-85 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. American players dominated the game. Forward Victor Evans (193, college: Vanguard) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Kris Frazier chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Guard Bryan Hudson (190, college: MWSU) responded with 23 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
The game in Belmopan was also quite interesting. Dream Ballers played at the court of Red Taigaz. Red Taigaz defeated Dream Ballers 91-79 on Friday. Brandon Flowers notched a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Red Taigaz's coach used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Even 31 points by D'Von Campbell did not help to save the game for Dream Ballers.
