BEBL Round 2 (Regular Season): Suns edge Thunderbolts by two points

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in BEBL. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of Thunderbolts to Suns 67-65 on Saturday evening. Suns forced 32 Thunderbolts turnovers. Strangely Thunderbolts outrebounded Suns 53-37 including 19 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Jason Vasquez who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international Gregory Rudon (181-1984) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Matthew Young produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 27 rebounds for the guests. Suns is looking forward to face Panthers in Punta Gorda in the next round. Thunderbolts will have a break next round.

American guard Dennis Flowers III (188-2001, college: ACU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 8 rebounds. Arik Nicholas contributed with 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Brandon Flowers (196-1995) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds for Kings. City Kings' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.




Kings - Western Ballaz 70-80

The game in was also worth to mention about. Western Ballaz played at the court of City Kings. Western Ballaz defeated City Kings 80-70. Western Ballaz made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 28 Kings turnovers. American guard Dennis Flowers III (188-2001, college: ACU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Arik Nicholas (196, college: ACU) contributed with 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Flowers III is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Brandon Flowers (196-1995) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and James Moore added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kings. City Kings' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
