It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Running Rebels. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of Edward Hampton who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Tyrell Griffith contributed with 10 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. American guard William Jr Stanford (190-1998, college: Mobile, AL) answered with 24 points and 9 rebounds for Running Rebels. Defending champion used an opportunity after Running Rebels lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position which they share with defeated Running Rebels. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defenders have a solid series of four victories in a row. Despite that victory Defenders went down to fourth position due to points difference. Loser Dream Ballers keep the fifth place with five games lost.
