Very significant was Running Rebels' (#2, 9-3) victory against 4th ranked Tiger Sharks (6-5) 74-58. Running Rebels forced 20 Tiger Sharks turnovers. American guard William Jr Stanford (190-1998, college: Mobile, AL, agency: Fully Feared Sports) scored 21 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Kenneth Perkins Jr (210-1997, college: Philander Smith) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Running Rebels' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Keon Rowland responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Running Rebels maintains second position with 9-3 record behind leader Defenders. Tiger Sharks lost third consecutive game. Defending champion keep the fourth place with five games lost.
BEBL top team - Defenders (10-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Dream Ballers (6-6) in Dangriga 90-66. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dream Ballers. American Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Bobby Williams supported him with 21 points and 6 assists. Defenders' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 14 points and 9 rebounds by forward Kevon Laurie did not help to save the game for Dream Ballers. Defenders have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record. Dream Ballers at the other side keep the fifth place with six games lost.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Western Ballaz (7-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Suns (1-11). Western Ballaz smashed Suns 100-61 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Mark Gordon who scored 43 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. Julian Gomez produced 18 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Western Ballers maintains third position with 7-4 record having four points less than leader Defenders. Suns lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost.
