American guard Haylen Washington (196-1994, college: Co.Georgia) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import forward Jesse Johnson (201-1995, college: EWC) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Washington is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Univ.Sucre's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Brazilian Felipe De Paula (202-1991) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Agustin Carreon (190-2000) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Calero. Carl A-Z forced 22 La Paz turnovers and outrebounded them 64-21 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by La Paz's players.
