Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Ruan Miranda (205-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Bruno Cardoso (197-2002) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Paulistano's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Paulo Barbosa (189-2003) answered with 29 points and forward Nathan Mariano (201-2003) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Franca.

Forward Daniel Ferreira (195-2002) produced 21 points and 5 rebounds and Jonathan Costa (193-2002) added 6 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Four Sao Jose players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Yuri Neptune (201-2003) responded with 20 points and point guard Joao Campos (185-2002) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Minas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Caxias do Sul's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side guard Raffael Mencarini (187-2001) responded with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Jose Vitor Policcici (184-2001) scored 9 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.
