    NBB cancels 19/20 season - May 5, 2020


    NBB held a videoconference on Monday discussing the current situation. The clubs decided unanimously to cancel 19/20 season. They studied all possible scenarios and came to the conclusion that the resuming the current season would be impossible. Another decision made at the conference is the deduction in pay for executive body of the League.


    Franca celebrate Copa Super 8 title - Jan 11, 2020

    Franca earned the Super 8 Cup title. They beat Flamengo for the trophy. Rafael Hettsheimeir (206-C-86) came up with 28 points and 7 rebounds to pace the winners.
    Franca grabbed a 19:13 lead after ten minutes. Flamengo picked up the tempo in the second term. They unleashed 31 points to ensure a 44:37 halftime lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the third quarter. Flamengo entered the final stanza up by 7 points 63:56. Franca however used a massive 21:10 run in the fourth term to secure the winning outcome. Lucas Silva (209-F-95) notched 19 points for the winners. Leonardo Demetrio (208-F-94) responded with 17 points, while Marquinhos Vieira (207-SF-84) had 16 points in the defeat.
