Americana have claimed the LBF title. Americana defeated Recife on the road to sweep the championship series. They regained the title last won in 2012. Recife was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Americana forced 20 Recife turnovers. The former international center Clarissa Dos Santos (187-88) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Paraguayan-Italian swingman Paola Ferrari (178-85, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 15 points during the contest. The former international center Alessandra De Oliviera (201-73) responded with 14 points and 4 steals and the former international center Erika De Souza (197-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 6 points and 10 rebounds. Recife's coach Roberto Dornellas tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
