Franca - Bauru 82-55 There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Franca (2-3) crushed 6th ranked Bauru (2-3) in Sao Paulo 82-55 on Wednesday. Franca forced 22 Bauru turnovers. The former international power forward Marcio Santos (204-2002) notched 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and guard Reynan Santos (192-2004) supported him with 16 points. Four Franca players scored in double figures. Even 8 points and 14 rebounds by center Felipe Cardoso (212-2000) did not help to save the game for Bauru. This time they beat tenth ranked Campo Mourao (1-3) in Rio de Janeiro 79-61. Flamengo dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Campo Mourao's 26. They outrebounded Campo Mourao 44-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. Power forward Rafael Rachel (205-2000) notched 19 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Lucas Soares (199-2003) supported him with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Flamengo's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
