After struggling a lot to defeat Costa Rica in Day 1 of the competition, Team Mexico took a clear win in the first game of Day 2, destroying Nicaragua 124-88 and keeping the top of the table. The best performers had been Romel Beck (202-G/F-82, college: UNLV) with 26 pts and Anthony Lever-Pedroza (191-G-79, agency: Edge Sports, college: Oregon) with 25 in Day 1, and Omar Quintero (183-G-81, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: S.Nazarene) with 20 pts and again Romel Beck with 17 in Day 2
