In Day 2 of COCABA Championship, Guatemala felt again, this time to Honduras 75-62, being outrebounded 26-20, with the only Gerson Duarte (202-C-83) able to compete under the boards, at the end the team top scorer with 16 points. No one can explain why NT coach Conrado del Valle opted to leave at home two good inside players like Juan Pablo Trigueno (200-F/C-83) and Thomas Gillespie (204-F/C-74, agency: Rhonda Price, college: Regis), and one of the best scorers in Guatemala, like Walter Morales (184-G-83).
