After defeating 63-59 Guatemala in Day 1 led by Schacun Malave (200-F/C-79, college: New York Tech) and Miguel Banos (186-F/C-84), Team El Salvador faced an hard job vs. Costa Rica in Day 2, and felt 65-83. Only Mexico is now undefeated, and Costa Rica showed all its strengths and size, confirming that is the #2 ranked team, with hopes to win the gold.
