Day 3 recap: Only Mexico is undefeated

Afer that Mexico humiliated Guatemala 125-69, Costa Rica defeated Nicaragua, and El Salvador needed of an overtime to prevail 79-72 over Honduras. The regular time, in fact, ended 66-66, and the veterans Miguel Banos (186-F/C-84) and Arturo Mata (183-G/F-71) led the home team in the overtime. Banos was the game top scorer with 16, Mata added 12 pts, and Schacun Malave (200-F/C-79, college: New York Tech) scored 13 pts and was very important under the boards. William Waterhouse (200-C-75) led Honduras with 15 pts, Rony Palacios (190-G-77) Selvin Connor (200-F-74) and Walter Rodriguez added 12 pts each. The standings are now as follows:
