Team Mexico ended undefeated the 2007 edition of the COCABA Championship, largely defeating the home team El Salvador in Day 5 . The final score was 134-55, and the top guns in Mexico were Anthony Lever-Pedroza (191-G-79, agency: Edge Sports, college: Oregon) and Romel Beck (202-G/F-82, college: UNLV), with 22 and 24 points, respectively. The only player to end in double digits In the home team was Miguel Banos (186-F/C-84), with 11. The other team that advances to Centrobasket is Costa Rica, winner in the last day over Honduras 79-61, while the surprise of the Day 5 was Guatemala, winner over Nicaragua 80-64.
